Job Description

? Create, implement and update the functional strategic plan for Finance function.? Coordinate, develop and maintain proper accounting procedures for the Company to ensure that periodical and yearly reporting of actual results is in accordance with Company as well as Egyptian accounting standards and Global IFRS.? Manage the preparation of annual budgets, business plan and monthly / quarterly business review and variance analysis to control expenditure. ? Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, factory overheads, sales and marketing spends of the company.? Ensure the effective achievement of Department objectives through the leadership of the team. Set individual objectives, manage performance, and develop and motivate staff in order to maximize performance.? Drive the forecasted cash flow and maintain a healthy cash flow.? Develop and enhance systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial services and availability of accurate and updated records.? Oversee Distributor Management including negotiations, commercial performance review, distributor Stock Audits and Credit control.? Responsible for review and accuracy of the statutory filings such as Corporate Tax Returns, VAT Returns, Stamp Tax returns, Payroll Tax Returns, etc.? Manage the tax inspections with the tax inspectors to ensure favourable inspection closures.? Review contracts from a legal and financial point of view in liaison with the lawyers in Egypt and Legal team in India.? Understand, review and analyse impact of existing laws and changes to the law and design processes to ensure adherence to the laws.? Lead closure of internal audit observations and draft/edit the control policies/procedures/SOPs to ensure effective controls.? Track the companys financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement/cost savings, potential financial risk areas and the methods to mitigate the risks.? Research and analyse financial reports and market trends to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.Drive automation in the functional processes to enhance efficiency and stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes. ? Perform all company business in accordance with regulations, company policies and procedures.? Maintain Company banking relationships to ensure minimum cost of financial transactions and security of Company funds.? Conduct other duties within the scope of this job description as required
