Algebra Ventures is looking to hire a Finance Manager who is passionate about shaping entrepreneurship and venture capital in Egypt and having an impact on the digital transformation that is happening to our lives.Main responsibilities include: Liaising with external providers of financial due diligence Helping startups properly set up and maintain their finance/accounting functions Procuring regular financial reports and statements from startups Supporting and mentoring startups finance managers when necessary Developing and updating fund budgets Managing external fund administrators and accounting Supervising communications with investors (financial reports, capital calls, .. etc) Supervising annual audits and updating investment valuations annually Developing and updating budgets Managing cash positions Supervising internal/external accounting for Egypt and offshore-based entitiesThe role needs: Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices Some exposure to financial analysis and planning Passion for technology startups and venture capital Keenness to learn Self-drive, resourcefulness, and reliability Analytical thinking and problem solving Ability to work with people across functions and organizations Good communication and English skills
