Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring the financial health of the organization. You will play a crucial role in developing financial strategies, implementing financial controls, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  2. Develop financial strategies and plans to support the companys growth objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
  5. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and investors.
  6. Provide financial analysis and support for business decision-making, including investment analysis, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  7. Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial forecasts.
  8. Ensure the integrity of financial information and reporting systems, implementing and maintaining internal controls.
  9. Manage the treasury function, including cash flow management, risk management, and capital allocation.
  10. Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the same industry.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing the financial operations of a company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  3. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards, as well as tax laws and reporting requirements.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations.
  5. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  7. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Proficient in financial management software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
  10. Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
