Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:
Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and support of Bank ABC operations on Cloud
Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and support of Bank ABC operations on premises
First level support for banking applications deployed on Cloud and on-premises
Prioritize issues and address the top faults proactively under minimum supervision
Create and maintain operational documentation for infrastructure
Configure and maintain the monitoring and reporting platforms
Patching the Windows and RHEL servers on the cloud IAAS & on-premises
Develop Backups strategy for Backups on the cloud for Windows and RHEL virtual machinesand databases
Performing Backup and restore using AMI and EBS
Works with the IT security team to implement Cloud-related security and compliancepolicies
Works on projects as assigned, including sizing, planning and implementation activities.
Create effective documentations on the bank infrastructure in cloud.
This job role requires working on a shift basis
Knowledge:
3+ years solid experience on administrating AWS Cloud
Experience in administrating cloud platforms like AWS & Azure with emphasis on AWS.
Experience in Configuration Management (one of Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
Experience in IaC tools (one of CloudFormation, terraform, or Pulumi).
Experience in programing language (one of Python, go or PowerShell)
Amazon RDS and knowledge of MSSQL/Oracle
Knowledge of AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager
Knowledge of DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins CI/CD, docker & Kubernetes. will be added advantage.
Experience:
Degree in Computer science or equivalent experience with 2-5 years of proven IT Operations related experiences. A previous experience in 7*24 operation environments is desirable.
Experience working in financial services, banking or other fast paced 24/7 regulated financial organizations
