Job Description

Company Our client is a large-scale Retail company that has built a reputation of one of the top importers and distributors of luxury products in the GCC. They are currently looking to recruit a Store Supervisor(Optical background) to be based in Bahrain.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling the responsibilities of store manager in his / her absence
  • Responsible for retail turnover
  • Overseeing all aspects of store operations
  • Meeting sales targets of the shop & brands
  • Ensuring high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation & upkeep
  • Managing stocks in the location, determining effective ways of liquidating ageing stocks & minimizing loss of inventory
  • Maintaining customers relationships & high standards in customer service / handling customer complaints
  • Maintaining awareness of market trends, monitoring local competitors & customer patterns
  • Managing & motivating the sales team to ensure increased sales & efficiency
  • Ensuring team are well presented & in full uniform
  • Communicating & upholding all company policies, rules & procedures
  • Ensuring proper cash management at the store
  • Preparing monthly reports, as required by the management
  • Coordinating with Mall Management
  • On the floor training & providing support to sales associates & senior sales associates
Qualification & Requirements:
  • Must have Optical background
  • Thorough knowledge of feature & benefits of products & brands in the store
  • Understanding of competing brands & prices
  • Well aware of internal procedures , processes & systems
  • Excellent role model & effective communicator
  • Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
  • Good selling skills
  • Strong team building & staff development skills
  • Good personality & immaculately groomed
  • Basic numerical ability & IT skills
  • Arabic speaker
