Operations and Business Processa.Is fully familiar with preventive maintenance programs.b.Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problems or deviations.c.Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.d.Performs standard component inspections and repairs.e.Identifies the root cause of basic failures / conditions and perform repairs as required.f.Seek and share information and ideas in order to improve and optimize performance.g.Provide accurate reports to Senior Rig Supervisor on work done / performance, issues and preventive maintenance requirements.h.Plan day to day activities for mechanic.i.Work and act according to the defined policies and procedures.j.Communicate clearly and succinctly both orally and writing.k.Troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic devices and systems (pumps, valves, piping, etc.)l.Maintain maintenance records of repairs, replacements, and installations.m.Creates daily work schedules to meet repair and maintenance demands.n.Kept thorough records of downtime and assisted supervision to increase efficiency.o.Oversee the ordering and interrupting of parts orders.p.Effectively communicate orally and in writing, with good comprehension.q.Ensure that the completed work meets quality standards.r.Coach and teach preventive maintenance.s.Proficiency in use of personal computert.Performs other support duties as required to support operations.
