Coordinate and supervise Design Office (Mechanical and Piping) covering overall design ensuring consistency of design and presentation of deliverables while adhering to international standards.
Liaise with project engineers and designers to define project scopes and provide realistic man-hour estimates.
Manage resource allocation for the Design Office manpower.
Check and approve drawings for dimensional accuracy while adhering to international standards (QC).
Produce engineering deliverable lists for projects.
Act as a mentor and guide to junior designers and guide them throughout project execution.
Make sure that all in-house project deliverables are indexed properly in Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) and all the PIDs are uploaded properly in Smart Plant PID (SPPID).
