Job Description

Regional Information Security ManagerApply nowAbout the role?Information is key to our success, and the data we all use and access needs to be protected. Whether that information is physical or electronic, each and every one of us has a responsibility to keep it safe and secure.To further strengthen our approach to information security, we are now hiring a Regional Information Security Manager (RISM). The RISM will build strong relationships across the region and work with regional management and the group information security function to ensure that security risk is effectively managed.The RISM needs to ensure that information security and data privacy is incorporated into the working culture of the region and that people are fully supported in fulfilling their security responsibilities.Candidate SpecificationTo be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following skills and behaviors:

  • Ability to develop a full and deep understanding of the regional business operations
  • Ability to analyze information security risk within the context of business problems and opportunities
  • Ability to ensure system vulnerability, scenario, and testing is carried out
  • Ability to convey complex information risk and security issues in a manner that can be easily understood and is actionable throughout a culturally diverse region
  • Ability to construct, challenge and manage choices
  • Ability to interface with and build credibility and relationships with all stakeholders, including regional management and external security authorities and partners
  • Confident, energetic self-starter, with strong communication skills
  • Good judgment, a sense of urgency, and commitment to high standards of ethics, compliance, and Mott MacDonald values.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with the wider InfoSec and Data Privacy stakeholders network.
Job ProfileExperience
  • Experience working in information security, risk management, technology, or compliance with a particular focus on business outcomes and service delivery
  • Experience in information security frameworks, including ISO27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, and any significant local regional information security frameworks
  • Knowledge of information security approaches and related technologies
  • Knowledge of data protection and cyber security laws/requirements in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa
  • Experience working with a global cross-functional team and interfacing with senior management
Certifications
  • Hold a bachelors degree in information technology and a professional qualification in information security, or audit on information security or cyber security
  • Certified Operational Technology Cybersecurity Professional (TV)
  • SANS ICS certification
  • ISA cybersecurity certification
