Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood is currently recruiting for Planner to be worked on our TATWEER GSA project in Bahrain.Responsible for specific tasks and deliverables on any of project scheduling knowledge areas such as:Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Developing work breakdown structure for project portfolios at Level 3 and Level 4 in alignment with cost breakdown structure
  • Preparing and updating an integrated master schedule for all offsite projects
  • Generating milestone schedule and project deliverables for project submission (PIF)
  • Developing and tracking project schedule baseline by integrating with different vendors and company deliverables
  • Generating project physical progress measurement sheets
  • Maintaining project physical progress updates and providing necessary inputs to cost control team for Value of Work Done
  • Project Earned Value management and variance analysis
  • Generating project lookahead schedules
  • Controlling project scope and deliverables
  • Performing critical path analysis
  • Generating monthly project progress reports
  • Developing and updating procurement plan
  • Following up contractor deliverables (monthly progress report)
  • Project delay and potential claims analysis
  • Support contract administration by monitoring contractor roles and responsibilities in relation to project deadlines and deliverables
  • Proposing recovery plans
  • Assisting with Business Plan preparation works
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Skills / Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in related planning, scheduling and monitoring with Primavera P6 scheduling experience in upstream oil and gas industry.
Skills:
  • Proficient in Primavera P6
  • Intermediate knowledge on upstream field development activities.
  • Proficiency in developing, resource loading, analyzing and reporting on project schedules
  • Understanding of earned value management system principles/applications
  • Understanding of value of work done management system principles/applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (MS Project, Excel, Project, etc.)
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
Professional QualificationPrimavera certification and PMP are a plus.Additional Information:
