Logistics Specialist - InboundManaging the day to day operations with the customs brokerage team by ensuring that all the customs activities in terms of clearance procedure completed on-time without anticipating any detention and demurrages.Managing Duty exemptions, environmental import permits and other activities with Bahrain customs.Closely working with Customs Authority in liaison with customs broker to adopt and implement any newly introduced policies and procedures by government authoritiesLeading the reconciliations process with customs broker for all the advances paid upfront to the customs brokerInitiate/lead or contribute significant logistics projects that are adding value in support of increasing the cost benefits and improving the turn around time for customs clearanceCompliance to CFI?s in all process and proceduresEngagement with the business, maintain close, co-operative relationships with key stakeholders including finance, operations and legal.Identify cost savings opportunities for short- and long-term implementation.
