Instrumentation and Control Engineer - Power Plant Construction

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment Urgently required to join a company working on the construction of a desalination and power plant in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the EPC contractor will execute the control & Instrumentation part of project work in compliance with the contract and minimum functional requirements.Responsibilities includeSupervise EPC I&C works for conformance with contract documents, Owners Technical Specification (OTS) and International Standards.Monitor the progress of the I&C construction and commissioning work to meet the scheduled milestonesEnsure that I&C construction & commissioning works are completed within schedule time and as per OTS & MFS requirementsMakes regular site inspection tours to monitor the progress, check on the quality of I&C installations, discuss and resolve issues and problems being faced and recommend appropriate action as per ITPsCommunicate and work with all other disciplines to produce, reviewDue to current travel restrictions applicants MUST be based in Bahrain REQUIREMENTS: To apply applicants should meet the following criteriaBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering10-15 years work experience in greenfield CCGT Power Plant projectsSkills and Demonstrated competenciesDemonstrated knowledge of I&C systems, including software, control logic and instrumentationComfortable with IT-based document management/tracking systemsDue to current travel restrictions applicants MUST be based in Bahrain
