HEAD OF LEARNING ENRICHMENT DEPARTMENT IN BAHRAIN - AUGUST 2023A private international school in Bahrain is starting its recruitment for the next academic year. This is not a typical expatriate school; students will be mostly Arabic and will be speaking English as a second language.Salary and Package:A monthly tax free salary of BD1000 plus housing allowance, annual flights and medical insurance.Job RequirementsKnowledge:?Evidence of up to date knowledge of the Curriculum.?Understanding of the significance of our school ethos.?Knowledge of SEND requirements.?Understanding of the requirements of good classroom head of departments.Skills and Abilities:?Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases.?Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning.?Records of student progress and intervention strategies.?Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity.?Ability to collaborate and work in a team.Experience:?At least 5 year?s teaching / experience in the specified role.?Evidence of good personal relationships/ team player.?Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour.Educational:?Qualified Special Education teacher with Bachelor degree or equivalent.?Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development(CPD) activities as a participant.Special Requirements:?Applicant?s compliance to supporting and upholding the school?s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.?A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required prior to appointment.?Excellent and unequivocal references.?Good attendance and health record.
