OverviewThe Fuel Truck Driver drives a tanker truck to transport/ Deliver Fuel between the airfields and the Fuel Farm using a straight 6k Tanker.Responsibilities1. Drives a Fuel Truck from Fuel Farm to Air Field and back.2. May also load or unload truck with or without helpers.3. Makes minor mechanical repairs and keeps truck in good working order.4. May grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment.5. Operates Tankers and loads the Fuel from the Fuel Bags.6. Performs other duties and assignments as required.QualificationsQualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: Two years related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required. High School Diploma or equivalent experience desired Must have a Commercial Driver?s License (CDL)Fuel Endorsements. Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and Driver?s License (able to drive manual transmission). Must be able to pass the Military?s Flight Line Drivers course. Must have a current 40hr. Hazzwopper cert. with a minimum of 6 months remaining validity. Experience: Two years? experience as a Fuels truck driver / operator commercial or military. Skills: Must comply with published Company work rules and Government Regulations Must understand, read, write, and speak English.
