Database performance optimization of all databasesPlan and implement backup and recovery of databases.Implement and enforce security on all IPS databases.Provide technical support for application development and testing teams.Database upgrades and periodical patching of applications and databases.Monitor and maintain database storage resources.Maintain database documentation as required.Follow Change Management processes to implement database configuration changes.Follow Problem Management processes to troubleshoot and resolve recurring issues.Deployment and optimization of applications. REQUIREMENTS: 3 or more years of relevant work experience in core database and application administration.WebLogic administration experience an added advantage.Experience administering Oracle, MySQL and SQL Server databases.Experience with Oracle 11g/12c RDBMS, Oracle 11g/12c RAC, OEM 13c, RMAN, Oracle Data guard (Physical and Active), Golden Gate, Partitioning, Advanced Security and Audit Vault.Exadata, Super Cluster administration experience.SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, and/or Shell programming experience.Willingness to participate on an on-call rotation and work outside of regular business hours.Bachelors degree in Computer Science.Oracle Certified Professional 12c certification a must.
