Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferredMinimum 5 years hands on experience in Operating Control Panel/Console of Crude Distillation, LPG Storage/ Horton Spheres, Spent Caustic Plant in Oil Refinery.Must have demonstrated competency to operate control panel by achieving better than minimum qualification criteria set by the department including Simulator training or other competence tests, as applicable.Must be conversant with the use of DCS (Distributed Control System) / Analogue Control system, Advanced Process Control, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems as applicable to area of responsibility.Must have a detailed knowledge of all equipment and procedures relating to unit operations, emergencies, shutdown and start-up activities of facilities, Maintenance, and safety.Able to handle pressure during assigned unit abnormal/Emergency operationsGood English written and verbal communication.
