UNIVERSITY OF BAHRAIN REQUIRESThe University of Bahrain College of Science is in the process of offering a number of academic posts to suitable application at various levels (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor). For the academic year 2022/2023Departments of Mathematics- Specializations: Mathematics, Actuarial Science, and Data ScienceRecruitment Conditions:- Candidate should have a PhD degree from a recognized university as relevant to the field of specialization for the positions.- Candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: Analysis, actuarial science, applied mathematics, algebra, statistics, data analytics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Data Processing.- Candidate should have experience in teaching for at least three years in the English Medium, at a recognized university, in the field of specialization- Candidate should have published research articles in high quality international-refereed journals (e.g., Scopus Indexed) related to the field of specialization.- Must have experience in teaching (At least three years for Assistant Professor, and five years for Professor and Associate Professor) .Applications Must Include:- Curriculum vitae (CV) with personal photo.- A clear photocopy of the applicant?s required qualifications (Ph.D.- Master?s- Bachelor?s).- Completed application form downloaded from the UOB site.- Work experience certificates of the periods mentioned in the C.V.- Academic promotion letter for Professors and Associate Professors only.- Applications should be uploaded through the university portal.Notes:- Please type your application neatly and clearly and describe your academic roles and duties.- Mention the required position on the first page.- Any application that does not meet the requirements will be rejected.- It is preferable to add the equivalency of the certificate to the Bahraini degrees (from the Ministry of Education) if applicable.- The University of Bahrain will reply to considered applicants only.
