Job Description

m2r Education are working with the University of Technology Bahrain who need a College Dean for their College of Administrative and Financial Sciences.The College Dean is the Chair of the College Council and is ultimately responsible for the quality of education at the College. He/she is responsible for managing the faculty affairs, student conduct and fulfilling the strategic goals and initiatives of the college. The Dean reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the College Operational Plan and leads the college efforts towards achieving University goals.
  • Prepares and administers the budget of the college.
  • Ensure that all academic policies, procedures, and terms of references are maintained and implemented.
  • Provides management of support and leadership for the program evaluation and development, and the successful implementation of programs.
  • Assures the academic alignment of the college programs to the local, regional, and international standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Doctoral Degree related to the degree programs offered
  • At least five (5) years experience in teaching including three (3) years of supervision post doctorate.
  • Experience in program development and measuring program effectiveness
