We are seeking candidates for the role of an Accountant for a client in the IT services industry. The candidate will need to have strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, MIS preparation, Budget analysis and core financial activities.Role:Oversee accounts payable and receivablePrepare financial statements and analysisAnalyze financial reportsSupervise accounting department, junior employees, and accounting assistantsMaintain company accounting procedures and processesComply with GAAP/IFRS for financial statementsRecord financial information for analysisAssist in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for the companyAdvise on procedure and financial managementDevelop procedures to improve efficiencyForecast and plan for future needsAssist with audits and taxesMaintain account balances and bank statementsManage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processesEnsure compliance with all internal processes Salary: BHD 500 to 600 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree8 -10 years in Accounts and FinanceSalary Bracket: BHD 500 BHD 600IT system integration background is a plus.Experience working with a variety of financial systems (ERPs, reporting tools, advanced use of Excel, MS Access, etc.)Comprehensive and technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAP.Working experience in VAT(GST)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
