Job Description

This position is responsible for offering technical guidance and support to field technical teams ensuring all specifications of technologies, maintenance details are communicated and understood fully by the field maintenance teams. This position is also a field position handling resolution of complex technical problems assisting the Expert technician in finalizing solutions to the issues in the field.

  • Ensure that network operations deployed are safe and efficient by reviewing site documents and advising field maintenance director of any points related to site before finalization and Provide advice regarding planned maintenance schedules.
  • Provide support to field maintenance Team and use experience and Technical studies to affect positive outcomes and facilitate faster, better, and more efficient outcomes.
  • Amend network changes as necessary; verify built documentation; compare field findings with existing documentation and report results.
  • Must ensure optimal performance and must take care of component repairs.
  • Insert the information of the forms of the Operations Dept. (OP/RQ) and coordinate across teams and third parties to ensure we maintain the quality standards.
  • Working in coordination with the other departments, engineers, and personnel when completing maintenance and equipment installations.
  • Manage team and Providing technical support for Cable and devices replacement -Terminations and Splicing.
  • Demonstrate ability to diagnose and solve problems and maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and re arranging operational sites to meet the standard set by technical department.
  • Prepare all work sheet related to technician work and coordinate with the monitoring sections to achieve better team performance & time solving and troubleshooting of Network Failure and Outage.
  • Maintain accurate records including time worked, daily logs, as required; properly record all required information on data devices and/or work orders?etc.
  • Support continuity including natural disaster readiness and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Make recommendations to engineering for improving network coverage and implement.
  • Maintain inventories of test equipment and transmitters.
  • Provide input and Intermediate to expert experience in the following areas: physical, data-link and network protocols and architectures; routers, switches; system load balancing and redundant system architecture.
  • Take the necessary action when any bad installation is previously done on site and follow up material requests & return form governorates to main warehouse.
