Network Engineer

Our Exciting Opportunity:We are now looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing design optimization and audit of a network to meet customer requirements. The position is applicable for design & optimization of RAN, BBA, Transmission, Core, OM and Services Networks. You will be engaged in the whole process from pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and acceptance.The role focuses on executing design, audit and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process. Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.ÿYou will be responsible for:? ÿIdentifying add-on sales opportunities? ÿAssisting in the development of a service proposal? ÿParticipating in knowledge sharing activities? ÿCollecting and documenting customer requirements? ÿKPI reporting and finding solutions to reduce high congestion cases? ÿReviewing fiber network performance KPI report? ÿFinding solutions to reduce unhealthy cases? ÿNetwork data base updating and creation? ÿNetwork Optimization Plan? ÿNetwork expansion (RFP , RFQ , BOQ)? ÿCreating work order (WO) by MSDP system to active or optimize new service over DWDM network elements? ÿInventory management to cover network requirementTo be successful in the role you must have:? ÿEducation: ÿAcademic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or any relevant qualificationÿ? ÿ5-10 years? experience of deploy system test and lead testing team.? ÿIf you have ISEB/ISTQB software testing qualifications that would be an advantage? ÿAdvanced technical knowledge in the network area of working (Radio, Transport, Core or Wireline)? ÿKnowledge of local OHS statutory regulations and group OHS requirements? ÿEnglish SkillsKnowledge of the following will be advantageous:Fiber - OSPOSP Network designOSP Network HLD & LLD documentReviewing and validating optical test report (LSPM , OTDR , CD and PMD etc )Network optimization and network expansion (RFP , RFQ , BOQ)Inventory management to cover network requirementFollow with ITPC and LL providers new LL activation and integration processDWDM & OTNÿDWDM active part Network designDWDM active part HLD and LLD documentsReview and validate DWDM active part test ( fail over and protection switching test?, ?health check test? etc)DWDM and OTN service integration and cutoverDWDM DCN designNetwork Management SystemReviewing fiber network utilizationAdditional Requirements:1. ÿSynchronization? ÿClock synchronization Network design? ÿClock synchronization HLD and LLD documents? ÿSynchronization service integration and cutover plan? ÿSynchronization network DCN design2. ÿDCN & network management (DWDM & MW network)? ÿMW & DWDM DCN Network design? ÿMW DCN HLD and LLD documentsÿLocationBaghdad - IraqEncouraging a diverse and inclusive organization is core to our values at Ericsson, thats why we nurture it in everything we do.
