Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldHR SupervisorThe Human Resources Supervisor will be based at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Life Support Services contract in support of the US Department of State and Department of Defense. The Human Resources Supervisor will report to the Human Resources Manager. The additional duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive:DUTIES:? Assess current processes and identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency and ensure best HR practices.? Lead professional development and HR planning initiatives for the team.? Train and counsel staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures.? Foster and develop respectful and collaborative relationships with Frontline Managers.? Identify and address employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.? Conducting interviews, recruiting, and vetting new staff to frontline managers.? Responsible for the development and maintenance of descriptive (job position) descriptions for each department organizational line position to include each major job/position activity and minimum qualification levels of education/experience required.? Support the Human Resources Manager and acts in their lead during absences.? Responsible for the overall functions of HR to include training, policy administration, employee relations, compensation, benefits, worker?s compensation, policies/procedures, interface with payroll, Dubai and India recruiting teams, compliance, and project management.? Responsible for the development and implementation of an effective internal employee complaint procedure for expeditious resolution of company employee complaints.? Develop and maintain the AAP/EEO plans and ensures recruiting, promotions and terminations are accomplished in a fair and equitable manner.? Establishes and up-dates the merit review and salary increase grid for the Iraq Program and ensures all employee performance reviews are accomplished in a timely manner.? Ability manages multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy or appearance of frustration. Must be able to deliver results and meet commitments with potential conflicting priorities.? Excellent communication skills - Reads, write, and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style, and vocabulary. Must have the ability to write clearly and concisely.? Must have the communication skills to partner with the functional manager and be proactive in meeting their needs and the overall needs of the organization.? Strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities required. Must be detail oriented, accurate and analytical.? Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze, solve problems and translates into practical solutions.? Must possess expert level skills in Microsoft Office and other reporting tools.? Ability to illustrate research using a decision-tree, process diagram, flow chart or similar methodology with excellent presentation skills.? Participate in and lead employee relations investigations, actively integrating with corporate legal and ethics entities.? Provide support and oversight for the Job Requisition process.? Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED:

  • Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
o Four (4) or more years of experience in supervising employees in three (3) or more HR functions Employee Relations, Recruiting and Staffing, EEOC and compliance, Streamlining process improvement, Training, and employee development. HR staff personnelo Three (3) years? experience in an administrative capacity, with exposure to HR processes.o One year experience presenting and coordinating meetings, on-boarding sessions.o One year experience in Recruitment & Staffing Processes.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
o Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in HR functions at a large-scale overseas facility.o Successful management of multiple sites in geographically dispersed locations.o Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data to prepare clear and concise reports.o Exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.o Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.o Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office.o Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
  • Education/Certification: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or other related discipline
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid drivers? license and be able to obtain HR certification within one year of employment.
  • Passport, Licenses and Certifications: As part of pre-contingency requirements candidates must possess a valid passport (or have started the process of obtaining one) with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages.
  • Security Vetting: Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or be able to obtain a favorable US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.
  • Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
DESIRED:? Four (4) years management/supervisory experienceWORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS:This position may be in an environment with harsh, dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, lifting and moving of items.
