JOB SUMMARY:Will be responsible for maintaining guestrooms, working areas, and the camp premises in a clean and orderly manner. Responsible for supervising Room Boys to deliver an excellent Guest satisfaction and maintaining the housekeeping operating standards?KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:???? Applies and follows the contractual obligations, GCCs policies and procedures???? Ensures ISO standards and requirements are strictly followed and maintained???? Ensures Personal Hygiene standards, uniform code and code of behavior is strictly followed and complied???? Ensures smooth operation of the assigned accommodation???? Supervises the performance of the Room Boys???? Organizes and facilitates the room cleaning process???? Allocates on a daily basis the rooms and deep cleaning tasks to designated team members???? Ensures cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and the common areas in the location???? Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs???? Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards???? Conducts routine inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet GCCS? standards???? Achieves positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner???? Carries out lost and found procedures???? Reports maintenance issues to the respective department???? Assists the Housekeeping Manager with training requirements???? Shares the team?s needs with the respective Management???? Assists other departments wherever necessary and maintains good working relationships with all units???? Follows Health and Safety measures including Code of Accident Prevention???? Pays constant attention to Safe Work Practices and immediately addresses any unsafe act witnessed???? Conducts stock inventories to ensure adequate supplies are available???? Investigates complaints regarding Housekeeping, Laundry service and equipment and take corrective actions???? Performs other duties as directed??
