Job Description

Recruitment for the upcoming?Iraq Technical Assistance Facility?opportunity??Position:?Associate?Background Information:?The?UK government is shortly to release a tender to run a Technical Assistance Facility to support the Prime Minister?s Office in Iraq.?The project duration is 3 years, expected to begin in 2021.?This will help to support the implementation of the GOIs far reaching reform plan and boost the capacity of the GOI in?strategic areas to:?

  • Support the digitalisation of the Iraqi Civil Service;?
  • Facilitate the GOI?s development of external communications expertise;?
  • Help sequence and prioritise the delivery of infrastructure and project delivery plans;?
  • Develop financial advisory capabilities to support negotiations with international financial institutions and?banks, as well as to support fiscal reform implementation;?
  • Enhance customs tax collection and tax reform plans;?
  • Work closely with HMG and the UK private sector to identify further opportunities to mobilise UK capabilities?to support GOI needs.?
