Job Description

Alma Investment Holdings was incorporated in 2020. It is a leading investment company. The company brings solutions in bridging gaps between different business cultures with a wide international and local business network as well as investment opportunities for investors, partners, and stakeholders in financial solutions, hospitality, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and real estate.We are seeking an IT Specialist who will provide efficient and professional assistance to the company. The role requires a high level of flexibility and commitment.Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
  • Implement security measures.
  • Monitor security certificates and company compliance with requirements.
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
  • Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
  • Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
  • Assisting with network administration tasks.
  • Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
  • Resolving all issues co-workers have with their IT systems and software.
  • Educating co-workers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
  • Responsible for network management, software development, and database administration
  • Define software, hardware, and network requirements.
  • Identify and resolve project issues.
  • Prepare project status reports.
  • To maintain and create backup data for the database system and for internal servers of the company.
  • To prepare a budget for the IT department and oversee budget spending accordingly.
  • Support of all computer desktops, laptops, equipment, and servers to maintain their integrity and support and service of product development and research of IT-related matters, especially outside networking.
  • To ensure that the IT policy is in accordance with the company?s business policy and is responsible for maintaining the technology standards of the company while providing for its technical needs.
  • IT specialist maintains telecommunications and technology through the company to optimize workforce efficiency through telephony.
  • Cybersecurity.
  • Requirements:
  • IT Engineer/ Bachelors in IT/ IT certification, required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in several programming languages.
  • Experienced writing code.
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office applications, including Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Familiar with a range of software and hardware.
  • Previous technical support role.
