Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  2. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  3. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  4. Provide financial analysis and advice to management for decision-making purposes
  5. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits
  6. Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
  7. Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital
  8. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
  9. Supervise and mentor a team of accountants
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA
  3. Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or finance
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team
  8. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
