Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You should have strong analytical skills and be able to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all accounting transactions and record them in the general ledger
  2. Prepare and review financial statements and reports
  3. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
  4. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  5. Handle accounts payable and receivable
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards
  7. Prepare and process payroll
  8. Assist with tax filings and audits
  9. Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify variances and trends
  10. Provide financial information to management for decision-making purposes
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
  2. Proven work experience as an Accountant
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  4. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  10. Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
