Job Description

Job Purpose:To manage the Company?s Receiving and Shipping warehouses in order to keep all the stocks at their required levels, their rotation according to FIFO, and in perfect operating conditions.Responsibilities:

  • Strategically rotate the stock in the warehouse to ensure that fast moving items are always available and that slow moving items do not expire.
  • Receives ordered products and merchandise from the different suppliers and stores them properly in allocated locations.
  • Keeps the warehouse in excellent operating conditions, including storage, logistics, refrigeration, equipment, etc? Requests maintenance repairs whenever necessary.
  • Transfers products between the different Company?s warehouses, applying applicable procedures and best practices in the industry.
  • Delivers products to the different divisions and units, as per there official daily requests.
  • Executes daily random and blind check-ups and stock counts on selected items, validating accuracy of inventory. In case of discrepancies.
  • Administers a comprehensive inventory count on all warehouse items once every month and a full count at the end of each fiscal year.
  • Makes sure that inventory records exactly match physical counts, and takes full responsibility for the warehouse security and protection.
  • Is fully responsible for any shortage in raw material delivery to the factory.
  • Must fully adhere to raw material receiving specs (Expiry dates, Packaging size, etc.)
  • Is fully responsible for scheduling shipping warehouse employee schedules and assigning 24 hours coverage in conjunction with the nature of Wooden Bakery business.
  • Is fully responsible for abiding by FIFO policies in delivery of finished goods.
  • Coordinates with the maintenance manager in order to assure all warehouse freezers and refrigerators are well maintained and in perfect operating conditions.
  • Must report on daily basis quantities delivered, orders errors, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Works closely with Production & Logistics management to coordinate work load, production quantities and deliveries.
  • Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Economics, or similar disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in bakey / Food Factory Warehouse, out of which 2 years in similar positions
  • Proficiency in using computer programs (ERP, Excel, Words, etc.)
  • Good ?English and Arabic languages skills
