Job Description

A company in the Hotel industry is looking for a Storekeeper in -Hotel Industry.Position Overview:We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our hotels procurement and inventory management team. The ideal candidate should have experience in inventory control and management, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of supplies to various hotel departments.Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all items in the hotels inventory, including food and beverage supplies, linens, cleaning materials, and other goods.
  2. Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages and ensure the smooth operation of hotel departments.
  3. Receiving and Inspection: Receive deliveries, inspect items for quality and quantity, and document any discrepancies or damages.
  4. Storage and Organization: Safely store and organize inventory items in designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation of perishable goods and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
  5. Issuing Supplies: Fulfill internal requests for supplies from various hotel departments, ensuring accurate and timely distribution.
  6. Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and negotiate terms when necessary.
  7. Inventory Reports: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, consumption trends, and procurement activities.
  8. Waste Reduction: Implement measures to minimize wastage and spoilage of inventory items.
  9. Quality Control: Ensure that all incoming supplies meet the hotels quality standards and specifications.
