Oversee the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
Supervise the loading and unloading of materials from suppliers to the designated areas in the building.
Inspect the incoming and outgoing material in terms of quantity and quality.
Verify that supplies received are listed as per purchase order and invoices.
Rotate stock and arrange for disposal of surpluses.
Ensure adequate record keeping to maintain inventory control, cost containment and to assure proper stock levels.
Manage the data entry of movement of all materials.
Issue all Inventory documents: MIV, MRV, invoices and delivery notes.
Collaborate with existing service providers and internal department members in terms of effective utilization of the storeroom and loading/unloading areas.
Maintain the storeroom(s) in terms of health and safety procedures, cleanliness and other compliance requirements.
Maintain inventory records and inspect the relevant services providers as per checklist.
Create checklist to inspect the performance and quality of materials as per the requirements of the user departments.
Respond to customer complaints (user departments) and concerns in a professional manner. Take action with the supplier in case where the materials do not meet purchase order specifications or quality standards.
Maintain records and comply with the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and targets approved by the Facility Manager for the stores and ensure its overall performance.
