Job Description

As such, we are looking for a Specialist of Anesthesia to join the team and provide exceptional healthcare across the region.As a Specialist of Anesthesia, you will be in-charge of the patient?s comfort before, during and after medical procedures with medication and monitoring the patient?s reaction to those medications. You will prescribe the correct dosage and type of anesthetic to use for a patient and administer the anesthetic drugs during a variety of surgical procedures including cardiac surgery, labor and delivery or dental procedures.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Evaluating patients vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors, to formulate an adequate anesthetic plan
  • Manage and administer anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Monitoring vital signs and condition of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed
  • Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing and vital signs
  • Order x-rays, laboratory tests, and other necessary diagnostic procedures
  • Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness
  • Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses
