Job Description

Responsible for supervising the execution of BMC?s fit-out projects from initiation to completion, while ensuring the implementation of required activities inline with the project plan, timeline, specifications and budget.? Implement the Fit-Out Department?s established policies and procedures and comply with BMC?s other policies.?? Inspect site regularly in order to follow up on progress, execution of activities, review, analyze and initiate corrective actions to meet the project timelines.?Allocate labour, equipment, vehicles and materials to maximize safety and profitability and minimize costs and deficiencies.?Supervise & oversee day-to-day operations related to Fit out projects and ensure the compliance of the same with BMC?s policies, procedures and set standards.?Ensure a consistently high execution standard of work is produced in accordance with specifications and quality standards through regular supervision.?Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment; monitor fire alarm control panels and other emergency equipment.?Monitor project expenditures, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions, providing non-project annual operating and capital budget information.?Accomplish BMC project results by:

  • Calculating resources required
  • Establishing standards and protocols
  • Allocating resources
  • Scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors
  • Evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions
  • Evaluating and implementing change orders.
?Meet operational standards by resolving problems, contributing information to plans, and identifying improvements?Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.?Track all extra work and process in accordance with contractual obligations.?Communicate and administer all Safety policies to employees on site sand conduct site safety meetings when required.?Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.?Develop and submit reports regularly on project activity, including identification of potential problems such as delays, incidents, etc. and recommend corrective action to Direct Management.?
