Vehicle Inspection & Diagnosis:
Determines the need for repairs through road tests, mechanical testing devices, customer feedback, and visual inspections.
Cost Estimation & Documentation:
Estimates repair costs and prepares itemized work orders, listing parts and labor costs.
Verifies and updates vehicle information in the system.
Checks the accuracy of vehicle documentation.
Customer Interaction & Coordination:
Engages with customers both in person and over the phone.
Identifies and records customer concerns and service requirements.
Books customer vehicles for services and repairs.
Coordinates with internal departments or workshops regarding job completion timelines.
Arranges alternative courtesy vehicles for customers when needed.
Job Processing & Invoicing:
Raises job cards and invoices.
Prepares progress updates and final invoicing.
Arranges collection and delivery of customer vehicles.
