Job Description

Description Job Overview:Operating UAV in challenging conditions for the purpose of inspections, surveying, filming, surveillance. Processing the data sets acquired from flights to create detailed reports for clients. Ensuring that all equipment used is well maintained and prepared for each mission. Performing Risk assessments before mission and managing and training teams of Junior pilots to deliver the data required.Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create detailed plans of operations before deploying teams.
  • Manage team of junior pilots on the job.
  • Perform Risk assessment before every mission.
  • Maintain highest levels of safety during operations.
  • Ensure all team members are equipped with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
  • Communicate with clients during operations to explain the process and ensure correct data is captured.
  • Direct and support ground and safety teams during operations.
  • Ensure that all data captured is correct before returning to the office.
  • Ensure data is stored and backed up in multiple places after mission.
  • Process the data post mission to deliver required results to clients.
What Do You Need to Qualify Education: Highschool Diploma or higherExperience: Commercial UAV operations experience of at least 3 years is required.Skills:
  • English Fluency
  • Microsoft Office
  • Pix 4D
  • Context Capture
  • Agisoft
  • Flir tools
  • Adobe Premiere of Final Cut Pro is required
Soft Skills
  • Dedication
  • Safety oriented,
  • Tech savvy
Certifications:
  • Minimum one civil aviation certification for commercial operations
  • Minimum one official UAV operations training certification
  • Having GIS or NDT certification is an advantage.
  • Must be able to provide proof for flight logs with at least 50 hours of operations
Licenses:Driving License is required.Physical requirements:Candidate must be able to lift 10kg box alone to a height of 1.5m, must not fear heights and confined spaces.
