Job Description

Operations

  • Defines and designs data modeling and data analysis.
  • Maintains accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools.
  • Formulates and monitors policies and procedures and standards relating to data management and design
  • Ensure data security and compliance.
  • Designs, tests, and verifies custom reports and structured query language (SQL) using the SQL database.
  • Provides data quality assurance and reviews; provides data coordination.
  • Assists in requirement definition and capabilities development; ensures the integrity of the system and data.
  • Assist with ongoing data architecture processes and governance
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.
  • Leverage industry best practices in establishing repeatable BI practices, principles, and processes
  • Implement and contribute to the Business Applications and analytics Function?s policies and procedures and comply with AAW?s other policies.
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Micro Strategy)
  • Maintain business intelligence models to design, develop and generate both standard and ad-hoc repots
  • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Perform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reports
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
