About the jobThe ideal candidate will play a role in the development of multiple parts of the business and providebusiness analysis, documentation (including reviews), and project management support/advice toChief Innovations Officer in managing IT, Biomedical, and facilities-related issues/requirements.Responsibilities:1. Gathering, organizing, and evaluating relevant information, such as policies and procedures,vendor contracts, HIS/EHR system specifications, project scope of work, project managementdocuments, etc.2. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders and conducting interviews as necessaryto understand current practices and determine possible areas for improvement.3. Analyzing market trends with respect to innovations in healthcare and makingrecommendations about how to realize savings and make business process improvements.4. Drawing up alternative plans and solutions for possible implementation, e.g., zeroing in on anew technology/equipment provider or recommending technology to help with systeminteroperability.5. Assisting with project management at multiple stages, including the research, testing, andimplementation of new systems and products; may also guide software development.6. Performing technical tasks such as creating business requirements documents, user trainingmanuals and guides, and requirements traceability matrices.7. Delivering written and verbal presentations to an organizations leadership to communicate keyfindings and updates on business process adjustments.8. Conducting in-depth data analysis, using spreadsheets or more specialized tools such as projectmanagement software and traceability solutions.9. Periodically reviewing the progress of any recommended and implemented changes to see iftheyre still on track, and repeating the above steps as needed to ensure continuousimprovement.10. Owning a problem and taking it to resolution by implementing best practices and coordinatingwith all stakeholders in a timely manner.
