Job Description

Job Summary/Purpose:Promote and sell Car Rental & leasing in order to achieve RAC sales targets and customer satisfaction index.?Responsibilities:??

  1. Ensure vehicles availability for rent in good condition.
  2. Ensure RAC location is clean, neat and tidy and open, closure timing is well respected as per RAC policy.
  3. Improve the utilization and revenue of the location as per plan, by prospecting customers by direct mail /phone or by visits wherever necessary
  4. Check customer documentation and open customer contract in RAC system as per RAC policy and procedure and strictly abiding by them.?
  5. Update customer details in the RAC system and issue monthly invoice to the customer. Keep up to date records of all customers and prospects.
  6. Collect refundable deposit from the customer, prepare receipt, update details in RAC system and deposit cheque / cash with cashier on daily basis.
  7. Inform the customer about Traffic fine, obtain payment from the customer and send receipt to Traffic Department through traffic representative or attach copy of customer Civil ID, driving license, delivery note to the report on traffic fine and hand over to the Traffic Representative of the division for payment in Traffic Department.
  8. Prepare debit note for damage charges, extra mileage and send to customer for recovery.
  9. Prepare credit note in case of premature return of vehicle or change in the leasing rates, send to customer upon approval from Finance department.
  10. Follow up on monthly collection of payments and update customer files to ensure that there are no outstanding payments.
  11. Report any default from customer to higher authorities on time to take necessary legal actions.
  12. Prepare Daily Call Sheets and monthly sales details.
  13. Co-ordinate with Fleet Controller to enhance the smooth delivery of vehicles to the customers.
