Identify risk data sources and coordinate with the relevant departments and subsidiaries across Mezzan to ensure timely availability of data (e.g., Finance, IT, BUs) for effective data management.
Develop plans for addressing risk data gaps to improve timely data availability and quality of information.
Oversee and coordinate the development of data extraction and processing queries to obtain required data in a timely manner.
Monitor and expedite the streamlining of the risk data collection process using automated tools to fulfill business requirements.
Design, implement, maintain, and consolidate database systems for the different risk functions and subsidiaries to facilitate timely availability of comprehensive data for report generation and to fulfill statutory requirements.
Provide data support and automation assistance to the risk management functions to facilitate effective implementation of risk management procedures.
Supervise the data reconciliation and validation with financial control, IT, business units, and subsidiaries to ensure adherence to established risk management standards.
Prepare Risk Policies and ensure organizational compliance with the defined policies.
Generate Risk Management reports highlighting areas of concern, change, emerging threats, and opportunities.
Review the effectiveness of the Risk Management policy and processes as well as the utilization of available resources and make recommendations accordingly.
Assess existing policies, procedures, processes, and internal controls within the Group and advise if any modifications are required accordingly.
Advise on the appropriateness and effectiveness of different approaches for managing risks.
Recommend action plans for treating risks assigning an owner along with a time frame for each mitigation action plan.
Develop periodic and ad-hoc reports to highlight risk assessments, treatment findings, results and recommend improvements to the risk framework.
Design and establish a robust Risk Management Information System (RMIS) as per the Group ERM Framework and Reporting Protocols.
Analyze Big data and provide solutions in conjunction with IT & SAP teams.
Design Data Models and lead projects for implementing digitalization plans.
Lead Technology Solutions for key risks including workflows and Process Automation Projects
Lead risk management sessions and workshops
Lead the development of risk management solutions, statistical tools for risk analysis and assessment such as Value at Risk (VaR) models, simulations for credit, market, risk, liquidity stress scenarios etc. to facilitate effective assessment of risk across Mezzan group?s functions.
Supervise Risk Management Analysts and ERM Specialists.
Develop the risk reporting plan for Mezzan (including number & content of reports, target audience, reporting frequency, etc.) to facilitate timely development of reports in accord with business and statutory requirements.
Provide all Business Units with regular sets of reports and analysis on all Risk Management initiatives as and when required.
Be a point of contact and direct support for all Business Units, third parties and business partners with risk management queries.
Address all compliance-related & business continuity management-related analytical & reporting requirements.
