Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields.what we offerYour salary is a tax free all-inclusive salary! Also you?ll be able to get employee discounts, furnished accommodation/housing allowance and a lot more.who you areYou are a dedicated physician with excellent communication skills to empathize with your young patients and their families.descriptionOur client is hiring an experienced, Registrar Paediatrics who is fully responsible to provide high standard of clinical care and expertise in assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in paediatrics.major responsibilities:

  • Abides by the Medical Staff by laws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department;
  • Provides the highest attainable standard of medical care for the patients for whom he/she is responsible;
  • Carries out full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties as assigned by the Consultant/Senior Specialist in Paediatric in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges;
  • Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department/ unit;
  • Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality Management Program, Quality Assessment Improvement Program) as applicable;
  • Instructs and guides when necessary junior medical staff in the overall care of patients, supervises their performance/work and contributes to the training and teaching activities in the department.
  • To report and discuss all unusual findings, complication or alterations in the management plan, with the Senior Specialist and Consultant;
  • Attends the Departments Continuing Medical Education Program;
  • Participates in approved research projects;
  • Strives to improve his/her clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness;
  • Participates in the Emergency Management Plan of the hospital, as indicated;
  • Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.
