Regional Business Development Manager

Job Description

Summary:Pace is looking for a professional to join our business development team in the role of Business Development Manager to lead Business Development under the supervision of the Associate director development. The successful candidate will promote the acquisition of new clients for PACE through identifying new business opportunities in Kuwait, particularly across the GCC region as required.He / She will identify and analyse new opportunities and partnerships, provide ad-vice regarding potential business risks, proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements, and review and support the negotiation of terms and conditions for contracts, accordance with the company?s policies and procedures and industry best practices.Responsibilities:

• Enhance the level of market intelligence, informationgathering,and marketing efforts related to new opportunity in Kuwait and assist the regional business opportunities
• Assistin the opening of PACE branches across the GCC regionandemerging markets
• Take ownership andassisttheAssociateDirector Developmentinthe search for business development opportunities for PACE in Kuwait regional market through liaising with a personal and professional network of contacts
• Collaborate withAssociate DirectorDevelopment inidentifyingbusiness development opportunities with existing clients and map market dynamics such as market and pricing trends
• Manage and builds on relationships with managers and key executives of existing companiesand?governmentalauthorities to enhance overall business development efforts:ensurethe Associate Director Development is apprised.
• Assist PACE?ssenior leadersin the development of an annualCorporate Business Development Plan for PACEin accordance withPACE?s approved corporatelong-termstrategy
• Assist PACE?ssenior leadersin planning strategies for new business opportunities based on an understanding of competitors? strategies, pricing trends and policies
• Conduct market studies todemonstratehow PACE can grow in regional markets
• Manage public relations and client interface to promote a positive corporate image among the firm?s existing and potential clients and markets
• Analyzethe current and past market performance in coordination with top management
• Participate in proposal preparation and presentations and negotiations with clients or potential partners
• Develop andmaintaina motivated and stable team
• Identifytraining and development needs for the staff and agree on the training and development plans
• Coach andmentor,the teamtake on higher responsibilities within the firm

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Required
• Qualification10-15year?s experiencein similar position
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines
• Knowledge of local and possibly international markets and clients
• Knowledge of the model design process
• Certifications Certification from Kuwait Society of Engineers
• Business Management

• Demonstrated use of sound business management skills in a similar environment
• Proven track record of excellent decision-making skills
• History of analytical insight as routine of work
• Time management skills
• Track record of effective coordination skills
