Key Responsibilities:úPerforms preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and cooling equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.úKeeps refrigeration inventory up to date and orders replacement parts as needed.úHave the ability to adjust boiler or refrigeration system?s pressures through adjustment of controls.úActs as mechanical, technical, and operational, support to all refrigeration pneumatics, hydraulics and boilers for the facility.úSupports the Maintenance team in matters pertaining to refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics and boilers.úAssures compliance to refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, and boilers standards set forth by maintenance management, State and Federal RegulationsúAnalyzes refrigeration malfunctions from performance and test equipment readings and determines appropriate repairs.úStays current on the latest technology pertaining to Refrigeration, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and BoilersúChecks air compressors, pumps, refrigeration rooms and freezersúEnsure that production lines are functioning properly to increase efficiency and minimize waste.úActively monitor and evaluate equipment for needed maintenance.úAddress all utilities support calls in a timely manner.úEnsure all work areas are clean, organized, and maintained to GMP standards.úSpare parts are always correctly booked out and accounted forúPerforms Maintenance Tracking Sheet (MTS) inspections for the Mechanical Integrity of the Ammonia Refrigeration SystemsúWork to ensure all Utilities Systems are inspected, maintained, and are operational in a safe, reliable manner to comply with regulatory requirements. Utilities Systems include but are not limited to, Ammonia Refrigeration, Compressed Air, Boilers, Steam, Condensate Return, Glycol, Brine, HVAC, Fire Sprinklers, Fire Pumps, Fire Risers, Wastewater Pretreatment, and Natural Gas, ThermostatúCarry out required/preventive maintenance and replace worn/broken parts, providing feedback on frequency.úRepair single/double doors.úUtilize observations and data to track and repair premature equipment failures.úEnsure that maintenance tasks adhere to company food & Beverage safety polices. Ensure that all parts and tools are sanitized before use on the production floor.úEnsure all working practices comply with company rules and procedures.úMaintain full and up to date records of all equipment, repairs, and parts.
