Job Description

The Receptionist plays a crucial role in the hospitality and accommodation industry, serving as the first point of contact for guests and visitors. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. With a focus on customer service, the Receptionist must be adept at handling inquiries, managing bookings, and providing information about the services offered by the establishment.Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  2. Manage reservations and check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
  4. Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
  5. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  6. Assist in coordinating special requests and services for guests.
  7. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  9. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
  10. Perform administrative tasks as required, including filing and data entry.

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
