Job Description

QCX Chemist - Cement ManufacturingOn behalf of our client, who is within the cement manufacturing industry, we are looking for a Chemist who will be responsible to perform physical and chemical tests of raw material, intermediate and final products to ensure compliance for product integrity and quality.Responsibilities:

  • QCX / XRF Operation for raw materials analysis and control.
  • Perform quality control tests in the lab as well as on-site when necessary for raw material, PPC, SRC, GGBS & Oil Well Cement.
  • Calibration and use of instruments like XRF, Physical/Chemical Balance, etc.
  • Prepare samples prior to shipping the final product to the customer.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control.
  • Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management.
  • Recognize and report any quality-related issues.
  • ISO / API Quality System Compliance
  • Ensure sampling as per system and schedule.
  • Ensure calibration and certification of equipment and laboratory environment.
  • Ensure compliance with SOP for the Quality Check
