Generating and submitting purchase orders to the respective suppliers where needed.
Daily checking of stock level across all branches for assigned cluster of vendors or category / purchase groups.
Following up with suppliers in the event of non-fulfilment and sourcing secondary vendors to compensate for non-receipt.
Maintaining a strong relationship with vendors, assisting in resolving issues borne internally to ensure an uninterrupted channel of supply.
Providing ad-hoc stock movement reports to vendors where needed.
Communicating with branches to issue purchase orders for quickly declining stock levels.
