Job Description

Our organization is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Psychological and Family Therapist in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field, with a maximum of 5 years. This role requires a strong understanding of psychological theories and therapeutic techniques, as well as the ability to work with individuals and families to address their mental health concerns and strengthen their relationships.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients mental health needs and develop treatment plans
  2. Provide individual and family therapy sessions to clients, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for clients
  4. Monitor clients progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
  5. Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and provide resources for additional support
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation
  7. Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of psychological therapy
  8. Participate in supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills
  9. Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of conduct
Preferred Candidate:
  1. A masters degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
  2. Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of Kuwait
  3. Demonstrated experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients
  6. Empathy and compassion for individuals and families facing mental health challenges
  7. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  8. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment
  9. Excellent organizational and time management skills
