Takes over project site from real estate team and ensure all necessary ministry/municipality permissions/approval are obtained by concerned support sections
Communicates with designated architectural design team for approved construction design, drawings and structural specifications
Works jointly with the design team for necessary amendments in drawing and drafts with respects to for site particulars and change recommendation from management
Plans, schedules, coordinates for new project set outs as per approved final plan
Determines material specifications, estimates material quantity, checks and approves samples, communicate with sourcing and logistics team for quality and quantity of materials for project works
Recommends contractor/subcontractor/supplier selection or changes
Ensures work assigned contractors are with standard safety and security measures and all workers as with are with all necessary insurance covers against all possible work accidents.
Visits work site frequently for spot inspections for ensuring the quality of works.
Manages construction progress in accordance with approved budget
Prepares project progression reports on regular basis for management reviews so as to ensure timely completion of projects as per agreed work schedule.
Communicates with contractors for effective conduct of construction works and report techno-functional incompetence, identifies remake/demolish/reconstruction needs as required
Implements effective support services related to periodic preventive maintenance of equipment and other real assets like Franke machines, water filters, HVAC, hearts, furniture and fixture deployed for Caribou store operations.
Ensures maintenance team are in contiguous contacts with store team to accomplish assigned maintenance tasks on time to maintain brand standards and specifications
Provides data/reports/valuation details of items identified by loss prevention team for asset write off formalities
Manages maintenance team activities in coordination with GR & Real Estate teams for required arrangements/rearrangement in outletfor product/brand visibility for sales promotion programs of Products/Marketing functions
