Oversee the production process and draw up a production schedule.
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Prepare production Plans using ERP system (preferably SAP) and other planning software
Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
Schedule shift according to production needs
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Expedite customer orders to satisfy customer order requirements.
Monitor and report production orders and report status to sales department
Assess and analyze current production methods
Develop and draft an improved production process
Achieve monthly and yearly production KPIs
Maximize productivity of machinery and workers
Increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality
Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
