Job Description

We are looking for a Production Manager in the meat processing department on behalf of our client. The candidate will be responsible to supervise the supply department, including the development of administrative, financial, and technical plans and preparing reports for the Executive Director of the Operations Sector.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop the necessary plans for the factorys needs of meat and manufacturing requirements from its internal sources, in coordination with the relevant departments.
  • Participates in designing packages for manufactured and new products, works on developing them, and maintains their position in the market.
  • Studying the price offers submitted to provide the factorys needs of raw meat and requirements for manufacturing equipment.
  • Developing operational plans for the supply department in line with the companys strategy and objectives.
  • Develop policies and procedures for supply management in accordance with best practices and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in developing the profits of the company as a whole in accordance with the set strategy and objectives.
  • Directing and coordinating the departments affiliated with the Supply Department and supervising their implementation of the plans approved by the senior management..
  • Participates in developing a preventive maintenance plan to prevent sudden breakdowns of work equipment.
  • Suggests prices for the companys products to ensure a distinctive competitive position.
  • Participates in public exhibitions related to the companys fields of work.
  • Supervises the preparation of daily and monthly reports on work progress and submits them to the direct supervisor
  • Constant contact with the Sales Department of processed products to follow up on their requests for processed products.
  • Constant contact with some government agencies to overcome difficulties and the Public Authority for Industry to discuss standard specifications for products.
  • Responsibility for ensuring the provision of high-quality and value-added services to key clients.
  • Participate in the work team discussions to share knowledge and present ideas and solutions that benefit the work team.
  • Ensure timely submission of necessary reports in line with management policies and procedures (weekly, monthly reports, etc.)
  • Monitoring the performance of the work team and their training needs to maximize their performance to achieve the operational goals of the department.
