Job Description

Production Manager - Cement ManufacturingWe are looking for a Production Manager with extensive experience of 15-20 years in a Modern Cement Plant of 5,500 TPD and above.ÿ

  • Ensure clinker and cement production is efficiently carried out as per the IOS standard and is in line with the daily production target set by management.
  • Plan and recommend cost optimization techniques through effective utilization of assets and resources.
  • Ensure bulk terminal and dispatch of cement are integrated.
  • Should be responsible to present overall production targets to the EDO for final approval.
  • Provide updates on production targets, and oversee the annual shutdown plan under the supervision of EDO.
  • Ensure sufficient manpower, materials, spare parts, and equipment are available for the shutdown.
  • Maintain strong coordination with the department of quality control and recommend training and development requirements for staff on quality systems.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department and ensure that maintenance plans are carried out in a timely manner as per the planned schedule.
  • To identify areas of improvement for efficiency and productivity enhancement.
  • Must be able to interface with the contractors / Suppliers & vendors / Auditors and Consultants.
