Job Description

  • Must have thorough knowledge of power transformer manufacturing process
  • Should be well versed in the different coil winding techniques used in power transformers
  • Ability to read winding drawings is a must
  • Should be familiar with the core lamination cutting and stacking processes.
  • Should be thorough with the process of core & coil assembly as well as challenges posed by the same
  • Should be familiar with vacuum type OLTC and its connection
  • Should be familiar with the drying process in vapor phase drying plant
  • Knowledge of vacuum and pressurization techniques used in power transformers is a must
  • Should have knowledge in assembly procedures, safety procedures and assembly instruments and tools applicable for power transformer industry
  • Should maintain the shop floor discipline, maintain tidy assembly line and factory environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Attitude, eager to cooperate with others
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage
