We require our Procurement Officer to be able to perform the following activities (among other things):

Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
Review, compare, analyze products and services to be purchased.
Prepare orders.
Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
Maintain and update supplier information.
Research and evaluate potential suppliers.
Negotiate and assist with contracts.
Monitor supplier performance.
Meet with suppliers and procure samples.
Track and schedule all materials and equipment purchase orders.
Track inventory levels and manage purchasing activities.
Review supplier proposals and invoices.
Coordinate with staff, operations personnel, and suppliers to ensure materials, equipment, and services are available when needed.
